Let's take a trip.

We can travel the world in one evening and not worry about packing a suitcase.

Owasso's Best 2008 "Around The World" gala, which will benefit Owasso Community Resources, is set for March 29 at the Bailey Educational Foundation at Bailey Medical Center, 10502 N. 110th E. Ave.

And it promises to make guests feel like United Nations dignitaries as they stroll underneath international flags to the entrance, where they will receive their "Passport to Fun."

Expect the sights, sounds and cuisine of places such as Mexico, Rome, Japan and France during the festive evening of shopping, dining and dancing. Come festival or formal -- it's going to be great.

Reception and shopping begins at 5:30 p.m.

Dr. Rodger Mattson and his wife, Beth, will be the hosts for this journey of adventure and discovery.

Sponsors include: the Bailey Educational Foundation, Bailey Medical Center, The Bistro at Bailey, National Steak & Poultry, Reasor's, Andolini's Pizzeria, Anheuser-Busch Cos., Starbucks Coffee Co. and the Tulsa Global Alliance.
