FIRST BOOKS - Jeanette North, Owasso Community Resources executive director, left, and Gary and Keven Crutchely of St. Paul's Anglican Church, sort through their first box of used books for a new store they are planning to open.
Jeanette North, Owasso Community Resources executive director, and Keven Crutchley of St. Paul's Anglican Church, want to help residents out by taking those book off their hands. The two organizations are combining their efforts to open a used bookstore at the church, 201 N. Main.
Proceeds from book sales will be equally divided between OCR and the church's mission projects, including Cuppa Joe for Joes in Baghdad, Iraq.
Residents may drop off their books from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday at OCR, 109 N. Birch. The church has a book drop box set up on the south side. Residents also may drop used books off at the Owasso Community Center, 207 S. Cedar.
