January - "Emergency Utility Assistance" month will focus on raising awareness and funds to provide this most basic service of electric, gas and water to our needy in the communities of Owasso and Collinsville.

February - "Friends of OCR" month will show appreciation of donors.

March - "Owasso's Best" Gala 2007 raised over $56,000 and is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2008.

April - "Day of Serving" was on the 28th in partnership with First United Methodist Church with approximately 100 volunteers that provided basic clean-up and home repairs.

May - is "Food Pantry Month". On Saturday the 12th, OCR will partner with Standing in the Gap to volunteer and receive from the local Mail Carriers t3housands of pounds of food.

June - "Volunteer Appreciation" month will recognize volunteers at an annual luncheon.

July - "Partnership" month will recognize the valued partnerships with-based and civic groups.

August - Back-to-School Project will deliver backpacks with grade appropriate schools supplies to Owasso Public School. There were 575 backpacks given to OPS last year.

September - "Care for Clients" month will up-date and monitor needs, services and records for our citizens in Owasso/Collinsville.

October - "Owasso Community Resources Awareness" month will focus on the needs and services provided by our organization.

November - Thanksgiving meals will be collected and distributed for local families in need. There were 175 families helped in 2006.

December - "Angel Giving Tree" holiday gifts collected and distributed to children and disabled adults in Owasso and Collinsville. In 2006, there were 430 children and 6 disabled adults that received gifts.
